Today, we went out Ice Fishing for the first time this year. David took the kids last year, but I was a chicken. So, this year, I took a big girl pill and went with. We went to Bass Lake by the boat docks and the ice was 5-6 inches think. We had some minnows, and some red ugly lookin bug things. We had a great time, slipping and sliding on the ice. We lost some bait to a fish or two. 
Ashley fell a few times and we had a good laugh at her.
After awhile, Courtney was getting bored with getting nothing. She kept waiting though!
We didn't have to create any holes, someone already did that before we got there. Here's Sarah hoping to get a bite!
Sarah was real brave and put bait on her hook. We noticed Sarah was spending a long time baiting her hook. She had 2 minnows! She thought that she could get more fish with more bait. How silly! At least she was thinking!!!

Ahhhh I vaguely remember stories of Bass Lake when I was little. Yes your grandma was little/young once upon a time Jennifer. LOL
Only thing "I" remember is setting on my dad's lap "driving" around the lake.

Bass lake has gone down hill from when you were there I bet. The houses, are just falling apart. and they are worth 500,000.
