Buckley Homestead

Today the North Judson 4th grade went to Buckley Homestead. We went on a tour to the Schoolhouse, Cabin, Barn and the Hired Hand House. This trip brings back many great memories of going there as a child. I remember being the Twins' age and going there with my Grandpa and all my cousins. Walking all over, making candles, seeing many animals.

Good Times.....

Glad you got to go along with them, were you a chaperone??

Awww...I remember, too. The Maple Sugar Festival, the Shriner circus, motorcycle rides to the Dunes, DQ of course, rides on the lawn mower, the Lake County Fair, and the list goes on. We were so blessed to have involved grandparents, weren't we? I'm so glad that Julia is going to grow up with just as much love as we did!
