Well, this year I was on call. So, David went out deer hunting in the morning and I was cooking away. We had just us and his mother over this year. Mom and Dad went to Grandmas and then they came over afterward. Nothing too big. I did mess up and cooked my turkey upside down. There was no popper on this one, so I had no clue which way was up. The girls and I watched the parade and the dog show. You know, I have alwasy loved the dog shows! They are so pretty... and well groomed. I didn't get called in though thank GOD for that one. I'm on the rest of this weekend also. So, just hanging around the house for me. On Sunday we all are going over to Aunt Terri's house to shingle the garage and put the plywood on the walls. Uncle Rich isn't doing as well as he was anymore and can't do it, so Grandma is getting the family together to get it done. And Aunt Terri is about the only family's house that I can go to and be on call. She is only about 20 minutes from the hospital. So, I thought well, why not. Courtney has missed her class for a few weeks because Uncle Rich being in the hospital, so we could get 2 things done all in 1 day.

Oh the stories we women could tell about our first ventures in cooking something.. We could no doubt write and "Oops" book. lol
So are you guys going to be able to come up to grandmas one weekend? Still waiting to hear.. I might just e-mail or call too, Just in case you don't check here soon.
