Do you remember those hot summer days as a kid? Wanting to make some money. Begging mom to have a Lemonade stand. Feeling sad every time a car didn't stop, and then when a car DID stop.....
Last week, Courtney and Sarah BEGGED me to have a Lemonade stand. I finally gave in and said yes. They got chairs out and a small table. Made signs and everything. Cars came and went, no sales yet. The kids yelled at every car as they passed. And then finally... someone stopped. a little old lady gave them $2.00 for 1 glass. By the look on Courtney and Sarah's faces, you would have thought this lady gave them a million bucks. A friend of David's happened to be going by the house and gave them $5.00 for a glass, our neighbor came over and bought some for his grandkids that were over. A few other people did stop and get a glass. From what I saw it was mostly older people, and no one paid a quarter. For the first day the kids made $11.00. I thought I wanted to have a stand for that kind of money! :)
Today was another story. No one stopped. We were only out for a hour though. David and I bought glasses as well as David's mom and sister. Somehow, the kids made $9.00.....

What are they wanting to get to make the money for it?
I am babysitting LilyBelle while Becky, Kent & Rachel are on vacation. She's doing good, I get my "doggie fix" and then send her home. Just like with grandkids, and all.. :-) WE could use a fix! hint hint... later (((HUGS))) to all
