The Freedom at Home Team Convention

Well, a bunch of things happened on my Journey to Texas. I had to get up in the middle of the night Thursday morning, and get a friend of mine. Then we were all going to meet at my house and ride in 1 truck to the bus stop. After I picked up my friend Cheryl, we got home and I used Davids truck key and I had no house keys. So, here we are at 1:30 AM calling the house to get David to unlock the door. He never woke up, Courtney and Sarah did and they let me in the house. Sam and Molly were barking so I have no clue how David slept through the noise. Then off we went to Mich. City to get the bus and get the last girl that was going with us. You know, I have never been so shocked at the prices of things in all my life. We went to a restaurant at the Airport... a order of sausage was $2.95, and 2 pancakes were $6.50. How outrageous!!! I was just shocked. Then we were on the plane, and my friend got 1 beer for $4.00!!! Boy was I in for the shock of my life. We get to the Wyndham Greenpoint Hotel, and it is very classy, and we went for dinner there and just a Cheeseburger and fries was $9.00. I was in shock the hole weekend. The breakfast was not free like other hotels I have been to. The breakfast bar was $13.00!!! But it was all you can eat, so I made sure to get my $13.00 worth! Then we went to the hotel bar, mistake #1, and my friend ordered some cocktail and it was $10.00. for 1 drink! I was not going to get any booze there. WOW!!! But I did get to meet the National Vice Pres, and a lady on my team started out the weekend making 87,000 in Residual Income. While we there there, She made it to the 100,000 Mark. And she has only been in the business for 3 years. Our NVP has been in the company for 5 years and they are making 500,000 Lifetime Residual Income. So, I am totally excited about this opportunity, and if they can do it I am too. 1 girl is making 65,000 a year and just bought her and her hubby trucks with CASH! Wouldn't that be nice!

Other than "sticker shock" on prices... I hope you had a good time on your trip. You need to get out of North Judson a little more.. haha
A BEER? Says Gramma.. LOL
I can't remember WHO but someone here lately was complaining about stuff like that too. It was airports or ballgames.. no matter, but it is true how we get gouged!!
Hope all are fine.. Gramps hand is still bothering him, but we keep "moving and shaking" as my hairdresser says! Gosh it has been toooo long since we've seen you guys, and the picture on my computer is not enough. Hopefully we can get together soon.
Love ya Jen..

LOL...I was thinking the same thing about getting out more...LOL....That is to be expected at places like that though.....I know when we were in Chicago a few weeks ago...(It probably was me, your thinking of Mom...) Jay and I had 2 sub sandwiches, a salad, and 2 waters for $30....Even though we knew it was going to be that high, it still is unbelievable they can do that!

Tell us more about the reason for the trip? What did you do? Any lectures or speeches?

Glad you got to go to Texas....I have a friend moving out there within a few months...Isn't it pretty?

Yeah, it's been too long since you have been out here....I asked you twice in e-mails about your birthday....Would love to see you and the family! Hugs!! Kiss the girls for me!:-)
