Dad was over the other day and was telling me about how Grandma Jones had a dog that rang a bell when he needed to go outside. So, I thought that would be a good thing for Molly. Right now, she just sits by the door. So, Courtney let us have her Christmas bell and I used the Touch Command to get Molly to hit the bell with her nose. After 3 times telling her what to do, she now rings it on her own. This morning, I woke up at 3:30A.M. to Molly ringing the bell. Isn't that the sweetest thing? She is super smart, that is for sure.

yea my dogs are all dumb! cant even figure out where to poop! how is it going my favorate cousin who i have not seen in 8 years!!!
Brian, it takes time for them to figure out what you want them to do. and a ton of treats! We do need to get together. maybe in the next few weekends after we get done with this sickness and I'm not on call for surgery. let me know your phone or email and we'll figure out something!

Wow what a smart pooch... Now if she could tell time and get on a schedule it would be really nice... I myself have a problem with that... up all hours of the night with potty calls...hahahaha and grrrrrrrrrr

I was telling Jay's sister Carol, (she shows/trains/does speeches about dogs) about the bell with Grandma Jones, and she has this kit she give to people in her classes, that has the bell and tape to show you how to teach the dog. She is sending us one this week. How cool!! How is Molly doing now? Thanks for the suggestion, Jennifer! Hope little Ashley is felling better! Hugs!
