Sorry it has been a while. I have been getting things ready for Girl Scouts, and we had training, I ended up working midnights to days one day, I did some new Advertising for Ameriplan and that has gotten some great results and the list just goes on and on. Today, we have a extra training lesson with Molly. Sarah is getting frustrated with her. You know Sarah, if she doesn't get it today, she is ready to quit. She already wants to trade Molly for Dad's dog Bill. I had to tell her that the object isn't to have a dog that is already trained, but to train a dog that needs help. Sam has no lead manners, and Molly has no training what so ever. Bill is perfect on the lead and he knows all those commands that they are teaching. I had to have the soccer talk with her. I explained it like this..... Remember when you first started soccer? Did you score a goal the first day? no. you had to practice and practice to learn how to dribble the ball down the field. Well, Molly has 7 months of training before you go to the fair, so by then she will be scoring the goals. So, I think I got her to understand, but the other dogs are all older than Molly, so they learn faster. But Molly has no training and I think she will be better because there are no bad habits to break. Just my 2 cents.
I'm only waiting for 1-2 things before we can get those stinking taxes done. We got a new babysitter this week. I found her in the paper and we found out that Mom has worked with her at the Nickel years ago. So, I feel better about that. So, far they love it there. We have had a few 2 hour delays last week. We had a nice few days at work this week. I got to work with my favorite Surgeons, and actually I wasn't going to scrub the last case of the day yesterday with the OB/GYN doctors so I could do some paperwork, but they wanted to know where I was and they insisted that I scrub. It's funny because for some reason when I'm not there, they ask about "their Jennifer", and sometimes I had to come in on my day off just to scrub. I think that my favorite cases are the OB/GYN cases. they are the same for every procedure and for every patient. C-Sections are by far my favorite procedure as well as Hysterectomies. But our new General Surgeon came from Goshen, and he is super fast and very great to work with. He also is good about explaining things to our Surgical Tech Students we get. Sometimes I like being the favorite, and sometimes I don't because they want me for every case. and then sometimes it just makes me feel good to know that they depend on me to get the things they need to do the surgery. And if I'm not there or the other Techs, they can't do their job. People just don't realize that there is more to the Surgery than the RN and the Doctors. The real down fall of knowing what I know is when I have to have something done. For example, Grandpa. I have done some shoulder Surgeries, and I would not want to have that done, or anything done for that matter. I KNOW what the equipment looks like and I could go step by step through it. It just looks like it hurts when we do it, Or how they get that baby out during a C-Section. Ouch!

Well hi there...
Glad you are being patient with Sarah and her "quit attitude." I hope she will hang in there and have the fun of it all. Nothing good is ever easy. :-)
I still cannot fathom you in surgery! Our little girl, it just doesn't seem possible. And you are right the more ya know sometimes the more scary it is. I do not like talking about operations etc. or getting details. IFFF I ever have to have things done I am better IFF I DON'T know a thing! haha
Well long day, longer one tomorrow.. off to the couch I go. Didn't sleep to good last night. Later ((((HUGS))) to ALL
