As you know, kids say the craziest things. So, I'd like to share my EVERYDAY with you.... Sarah has been a bit under the weather lately. Last night, she wanted to sleep with David and I. We told her no way, so she slept in the living room on the couch. Why? do you ask? Courtney was afraid that Sarah was going to puke on her.
Then the girls were fighting, over what, I still have no clue. But David and I hear Ashley yelling to Courtney that she was going to rip up her Christmas present. Courtney then yelled back that she didn't care and she hated her. Then Sarah started in yelling that she has a headache from the others. Then David caught Ashley making a bunch of noise upstairs. He went out to see what was going on and there was Ashley...with a ink pen writing all over the girls' door. She told him she was mad at the girls for not letting her in their room. You know we got a ton of snow last night. Well, David and I let the kids go out and play. Sarah couldn't because she was sick. So, I was in the house with her and she makes a "mad" face at me. I asked her what was her problem and she told me that I was the meanest mommy in the world. All because she couldn't go outside and freeze her fanny off.
But... on a good note, Ashley HAS to "wash" all the dishes after we are done with them and before they get to the dishwasher. She MAKES sure that Daddy has a clean coffee cup for the morning. Sarah makes sure that I don't forget to give Molly a treat when she goes potty outside. You know, I started that so why does she think I'd forget? Because I do. After she goes potty she gets frisky with Sam and then they play. When she pees again, we go inside, and I forget...sometimes. Courtney is Courtney. She likes to be the mother. When Sarah and/or Ashley does wrong, she is RIGHT THERE to tell me exactly what they did and what to do about it. Then I ask her "are you the mother?"
And here is a question I don't think will ever be able to be answered.... When 2 children get in a "play" bath, why do they need 5 towels? AND they ALWAYS get the BIG towels, and leave David and I the small ones. I even told the kids to get the small ones and use only 2, I found 5. They know how to count so what happened?
